Mould Remediation Process

They will then do mould testing to ensure the type of mould. Certain types of mould are harmless to humans and are easily removed.  Other types of mould are extremely hazardous and pose significant threats to human health.  It takes a trained professional and mould testing to identify the mould and determine the best approach for mould removal and mould remediation. 

Site Preparation and Mould Containment – Once we have identified the type of mould, we propose a mould remediation plan and quote. The mould remediation process typically begins with containing the area to prevent further spread. We then use dehumidification equipment to dry the space and promote mould dormancy. The mould and contaminated material is then removed for proper disposal.

Treatment and Clearance Testing – Leaving any traces of mould behind opens up a risk of the mould growing back. Once we have completed the mould removal, a series of mould tests are conducted to ensure your property is completely free of mould.

Restoration– With all traces of mould removed and the threat eliminated, we commence with the necessary repairs to restore your property back to it's original condition.
