Easy Care Restoration is committed to ensuring your personal information remains confidential. We are keenly aware of the trust you place in us and our responsibility to protect your privacy. Easy Care Restoration is responsible for all personal information that it holds. We may combine the information that you submit to us with information related to your transactions with us, such as vehicle type, insurance claim number, as well as with information we receive about you from credit reporting agencies and other third parties.

What is a customer? 

For the purposes of this Promise, we define a “customer” as any person who meets with any of our Easy Care Restoration professionals (sales technicians, customer service representative, manager, administrators, etc.) and/or any person who purchases our products or services.

Your personal information comes primarily from you. We request only the information that allows us to serve you better.

We do not disclose your personal or demographic information to third parties except where and as required by law. We protect your personal information that is in our possession, including that which has been received from a third party. 

We are very concerned with the security of your personally identifiable information and try to provide secure transmission of your information from your PC to our servers. For certain transactions on our website, we may use Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to secure the transfer of information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. If you have a user name and password for any of the features on our website, you have the responsibility of keeping your password secret. You should not reveal your password to anyone. We will not ask you in an unsolicited telephone call or e-mail for your password. In addition, you should take reasonable precautions when using a computer that is not your own or in a public setting. 

We reserve the right not to allow access to your information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is prohibited by law or if the rights of another individual might be violated.

We are very concerned about the accuracy, currency and completeness of the information we collect and make efforts we deem appropriate to ensure that the information we have is accurate and up-to-date. Would we release your personal information? 

We DO NOT disclose customer personal or demographic information to third parties except where and as required by law. We do not sell personal information about our customers. Like many other organizations, we obtain some services from third party service providers, such as glass manufacturers. Some of our information, (such as name of client), may be provided to them for purposes of product warranty, extended warranty where applicable, and servicing/repairs.

How long do we keep personal information? 

We only keep your personal information during the time it is required to serve you or while there are legal requirements to do so. When destroying, deleting or disposing personal information, we have strict procedures in place to prevent unauthorized access. 

Direct marketing 

We will occasionally communicate with you by mail, telephone or electronically to offer you products or services that may be of interest to you. You may withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time (as long as you give us reasonable notice of withdrawal.) Consent Your consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information can be expressed (verbally, in writing or electronically) or implied, such as by using one of our products or services, or by not responding to our offer to remove your personal information from our contact list, in which case we assume your consent. Again, you may withdraw or refuse your consent at any time for any purpose whatsoever.

Changes In Terms 

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the Effective Date located at the end of this Privacy Policy. 

Our Privacy Promise 

While information is the cornerstone of our ability to provide superior services, our most important asset is our customers’ trust. Keeping customer information secure and using it only as our customers would want us to is a top priority. The following is our promise to our customers. 

1) We will safeguard, according to strict standard of security and confidentiality, any and all information our customers share with us. 
2) We will limit the collection and use of customer information to the minimum we require to deliver superior service to our customers, which includes advising our customers about our products, services and other opportunities. 
3) We will permit only authorized employees, who are trained in the proper handling of customer information, to have access to that information. 
4) We will not reveal customer information to any external organization unless we have previously informed the customer in disclosures or agreements, have been authorized by the customer, or are required by law. 
5) We will always maintain control over the confidentiality of our customer information. If we share information with third parties, it is on a limited basis and only for the purposes of product warranty, extended warranties and service/repairs. 
6) We will tell customers how they may remove their names from our contact lists and they can contact us at any time to do so. 
7) Whenever we hire other organizations to provide support services, we will require them to conform to our privacy standards and allow us to audit them for compliance. 
8) We will not use or share – internally or externally – personally identifiable information for any purpose other than providing customer service or as disclosed to the customer when the information is collected, or to which the customer consents. 
9) We will attempt to keep customer files complete, up-to-date and accurate and tell our customers how to notify us about errors, which we will promptly correct. 

We will continuously assess ourselves to ensure that customer privacy is respected. We will conduct our business in a manner that fulfills our Privacy Promise in the provinces in which we do business.
